- WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Built for Professionals Who Cannot Afford to Stay Vague on AI

This is not a general technology awareness course. It is a focused, premium programme designed for senior professionals whose roles intersect with legal risk, regulatory compliance, governance, and strategic decision-making.

- SOUND FAMILIAR ?

The real risk is no longer AI itself.
It is not understanding where responsibility sits.

AI is already influencing how contracts are reviewed, how research is conducted, how compliance is monitored, how investigations are supported, and how legal risk is managed. The professionals who understand the intersection of AI, law, and governance will lead. Those who do not will react.

- THE SHIFT

Why This Programme Exists

Legal professionals can no longer afford to be vague about artificial intelligence.

AI is no longer a future topic for the legal profession. It is a present-day operational reality affecting contracts, compliance, disputes, transactions, governance, and organisational risk. Yet most professionals have had no structured opportunity to understand where AI helps, where it harms, and where human legal judgment remains non-negotiable.

This programme exists to close that gap. Not with technical jargon. Not by treating AI as a passing trend. But by giving legal and business professionals a practical, structured understanding of how AI intersects with legal responsibility, regulation, governance, and professional judgment.

Across five days, participants build the knowledge, judgment, and confidence to evaluate AI tools, advise leadership, manage legal risk, and prepare their organisations for a regulatory landscape that is evolving rapidly, including under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.

- COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you decide

Is this programme suitable if I am not technical?

Yes. The programme is built specifically for legal and business professionals, not technologists. AI fundamentals are explained in plain legal terms, and every topic is framed around legal practice, risk, and governance , not engineering. You do not need any prior technical knowledge to participate fully and benefit.

Is this relevant for in-house counsel?

Very much so. In-house counsel are a primary audience for this programme. The curriculum directly addresses governance, compliance, contracts, investigations, transactions, and advising management on AI risk , all areas where in-house counsel are increasingly expected to provide informed, confident guidance.

Will the programme focus on practical use cases?

Yes. Every day includes practical work: live demonstrations, clause improvement exercises, case-based learning, real legal scenario discussions, governance design exercises, compliance gap identification, and AI-assisted document review. This is not a lecture series. It is a working programme designed to build practical judgment.

How advanced is the regulation content?

It goes well beyond general awareness. The programme covers the EU Artificial Intelligence Act in detail, including risk categories, compliance duties, cross-border challenges, and the interaction of AI regulation with data protection, employment, and liability law. Whether you are beginning to explore AI regulation or already working with it, the depth is designed to be professionally useful.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. EMG Associates is authorised by the SRA and Dubai GLAD to provide CPD. Participation counts towards your applicable CPD/CLPD requirements, subject to your professional body's rules.

What if I need to cancel?
