- COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you decide

Who is this programme designed for?

A working familiarity with commercial contracts will help you get the most from the programme. It is designed for shipping lawyers, in-house counsel in maritime and energy, commercial practitioners, and anyone who works regularly with charterparties, bills of lading, or maritime trade. You do not need to be a shipping law specialist.

What does the practical work involve?

Each day concludes with a case study or structured practical exercise grounded in recent English court decisions and standard form contracts. These are designed to develop your ability to apply the law to real commercial scenarios rather than simply absorbing theory.
