Elahe Ghazinoori
Elahe Ghazinoori is the Founder of EMG Associates, a legal consultancy and a legal training provider established in 2006, following an earlier career as an in-house solicitor in the telecommunications sector.
As Principal Presenter, Elahe designs and delivers advanced, practical training programmes for lawyers across common law and civil law jurisdictions. Her work focuses on strengthening legal reasoning, improving drafting precision, and developing commercially sound legal judgment.
She has trained hundreds of lawyers internationally across corporate and commercial law, contract drafting, mergers and acquisitions, arbitration, and dispute resolution, and regularly delivers programmes across the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, Oman and Bahrain, working with leading law firms, training institutes and universities.
Prior to EMG Associates, Elahe lectured at BPP Law School, one of the UK’s leading legal education institutions, and also delivered CPD seminars to practising solicitors, training hundreds of lawyers in corporate and commercial law and applied legal analysis.
Elahe was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2005 and holds academic qualifications in Mathematics and Statistics, as well as the University of Cambridge CELTA qualification.
Peter Pafitis
Peter Pafitis, a Leeds University LL.B graduate and Barrister-at –law of the Middle Temple, has served as legal advisor to various corporate entities in South Africa and Bahrain, subsequent to which, as associate lecturer in law, he has taught company law, contract law, legal system, banking law and criminal law at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus. During the course of his academic career, he has rendered tutor support for the University of London LL.B and LL.M External Degree programmes on the island, and has developed and presented a Cyprus variant of the Corporate and Business Law module for the University of Middlesex BA Hons and Finance degree, at Intercollege. For the period 2002-2005, Peter was designated as visiting lecturer for the law component of the Institute of Financial Services programme at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. As training instructor he has delivered CIB/IFS banking law seminars and ACCA/ ACA Business and Corporate Law professional courses for GlobalTraining in Cyprus, Athens and Bucharest. He has also presented a series of workshops in Moscow for the Professional Competence Certification of Investment Firms and Credit Institutions. As part of the Universite Libre de Bruxelles’ Odysseus network project for the European Commission, Peter was appointed as Co-ordinator and Rapporteur for Cyprus to review and report on the transposition of Immigration Directives. As Consulting Director, he was a key player in the establishment of the Legal Resources Centre in Cyprus, and is currently Head of Legal Services Development at AG Erotocritou LLC, a leading Cyprus-based law firm. Peter has contributed a chapter on Banking Law for the publication “Key Issues Internationally” and is the author and editor of the recently-published book “Company Law and Law of Partnership in the Republic of Cyprus”, an authoritative and comprehensive resource for students and legal practitioners.
Yiannis Hadjiyiannis
Yiannis, a native English speaker, was born in Muscat in 1992 to Greek Cypriot and Omani parents. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wolverhampton and a Master’s Degree in International Business from Queen Mary University in the United Kingdom. Yiannis has working legal experience in Oman in addition to his international work experiences in the United Kingdom and Thailand. Whilst he specialises in Corporate law, he also handles legal matters in other areas such as Civil and Commercial law through drafting and reviewing contracts, providing legal advice, as well as marketing, and has run educational workshops for legal students through his firm.
Raised in Oman for the majority of his life, he is also well travelled and brings his international skills and experiences to the table in both his legal and educational work which has helped him establish a multicultural mindset allowing him to connect and get along with those of varied origins and cultures. Bridging the gap between generations is important to Yiannis, and he heavily focuses on ensuring that everything is understood in a modern context with future applicability in mind.
Dr Mohammad Al Qudah
Dr Mohammad Al Qudah is a leading lawyer and legal trainer with more than 23 years of experience in legal practice and intellectual property across Jordan and the Middle East.
He has held senior legal leadership positions, including serving as Chief Legal Officer at Abdul Latif Jameel, a multinational group with diversified activities in trade, investment, energy, financial services, and other sectors, operating in more than 15 countries.
Prior to that, Dr Al Qudah served as Legal Adviser to the Prime Minister of Jordan and as Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, where he worked extensively on Free Trade Agreements, intellectual property matters, and regulatory policy. He also played an active role in reviewing and developing legislation, contributing to more efficient governmental processes and public administration.
His professional experience spans government, private sector, and academic environments, covering areas such as IP protection policies, regulatory frameworks, legal strategy, corporate governance, and business advisory services.
In 2021, Dr Al Qudah was selected by the International Trade Centre (ITC), part of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Group, as a consultant in the fields of start-ups and intellectual property. He has also provided legal and technical advice to Takamul, an initiative of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi aimed at supporting innovation and innovators.
Alongside his professional practice, Dr Al Qudah is an experienced legal trainer, delivering programmes for lawyers, in-house counsel and government.
Mohammed AlNasser
Mr. AlNasser is an Advocate and former District Court Judge in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Mr. AlNasser is an Arbitrator and Mediator. His arbitration practice is focused on complex commercial and real property arbitration, general civil arbitration, and mediation. He has mediated several hundred cases to successful resolution.
Mr. AlNasser is listed as an Arbitrator with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), and as an Arbitrator and Mediator with the Saudi Centre for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA).Mr. AlNasser also is Fellow with the Chartered Institute for Arbitrators (FCIArb) and an affiliate member with the American Bar Association (ABA). Mr. AlNasser has worked as a Judge and councilor for 17 over 27 years. During his judicial work, he was seconded by the Jordanian Judicial Council to United Arab Emirates Government as Legal Advisor to Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and Legal Advisor to Dubai Government Legal Affairs Department, representing and litigating on behalf of Dubai Government in all civil and commercial cases, filed for or against Dubai government before all courts and arbitration tribunals, In addition to other legal advisory tasks including legal consultations, legislation, and contracts drafting. Moreover, Mr. AlNasser has provided legal consultation for Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and managed its legal affairs for over 7 years. Mr. AlNasser holds a BA degree and Master degree in Law from the University of Jordan, and LL.M (Cum Laude) in Comparative Law from Brigham Young University in the USA. He Also holds a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration, Oxford Program, CIArb, UK, Oxford University.
Chris Lipscomb
Chris Lipscomb BA, MSc (Hons) is a leading global HR Director and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. He has previously been recognised for his ground-breaking work in establishing the in-house Legal Training Academy for Al Tamimi & Company, the Middle East’s leading regional where he was the HR Director for 9 years. During his time with Al Tamimi, he developed a Trainee Lawyer Programme for local lawyers which was the first of its kind in the region along with a Development Programme for Senior Lawyers looking to graduate to partnership with the firm. In 2013, his development programme for Senior Lawyers was recognised at the Middle East Training Awards 2013 as the “Best Leadership Development programme”. He was subsequently invited to be a keynote speaker at the Middle East HR & Training Forum and then became a Member of the Advisory Council for the 2015 World HRD Congress. Aside from his passion for learning & development, Chris also has particular expertise in employment law having worked on business restructuring projects. Chris divides his time between the UK and Northern Spain. He currently provides specialist consultancy advice to the legal sector on resourcing/training related matters.
