Elahe Ghazinoori

Elahe Ghazinoori

Elahe Ghazinoori, EMG Associates' principal presenter, has a wealth of experience in providing inspiring and engaging training sessions. She is a Non-Practising Solicitor, acting as a consultant from EMG Associates, a legal consultancy firm which Elahe founded in 2006 having formerly practised as an in-house solicitor for a telecom company. She presented courses for BPP Professional Development as a freelance presenter for nearly 2 years to CPD/PSC delegates. Subjects included Personal/Corporate Insolvency, Private Company Acquisitions, Company Law Revisited, Presenting and Defending winding up Petitions, The Companies Act 2006 and Insolvency Litigation-Introduction. Prior to Joining BPP Professional Development, Elahe was a lecturer for BPP Law School on the Legal Practice Course. Subjects included Business Law and Practice and Private Company Acquisitions. She also worked as a senior training consultant for over 5 years for one of the world’s largest corporations, American Airlines.

Amanda Steadman

Amanda Steadman

A graduate of Business & French and German and after extensive international travel, Amanda embarked on a career in sales. After numerous years in recruitment she moved into consultancy and developing people globally within franchising and headhunting. Over the next few years she trained hundreds of consultants and owners in how to be successful. Her remit spanned: how to hire, train and retain staff; negotiate, lead, coach and present. Her emphasis was on how to create wealth through business and systems; whilst keeping the motivation and focus of the team. This also included consultancy, training and speaking engagements internationally in USA & Europe and in other languages in France, Germany, Czech Republic, Cyprus and Spain. After helping so many others develop successful businesses; it was time for her to do something different and even more challenging. She began coaching and running courses alongside her full time job, then began a joint venture consultancy in Resourcing and Training. Continuous 'self development' and then drama school at 30, enhanced performance and presentation skills! She also built up an admirable property portfolio, inspired others to create wealth and take action to change their lives for the better. She is passionate about people development and ensuring that the key messages are developed in a creative, fun, way that gets results.

Sean Cummings

Sean Cummings

Sean is a UK and European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney and a Partner of Keltie. He deals with all forms of intellectual property but spends most of his time on patents and designs. His patent practice extends over a huge range of technologies, from catalysts to computers. He is also involved with designs ranging from textiles to logos. Sean has in-depth experience of contentious and non-contentious matters extending across all areas of IP, including litigation, dispute resolution, due diligence and investor advice. He has appeared as an advocate before the UKIPO in patent, design and trade mark disputes and before EPO Examination Divisions, Opposition Divisions and Boards of Appeal. Developing his interest in dispute resolution, Sean was one of the first UK patent attorneys to train as a mediator.

Rosemary Cardas

Rosemary Cardas

Rosemary is a UK and European Trade Mark Attorney and a Partner of Keltie. She jointly heads the firm's substantial Trade Marks and Domain Name Group. Dealing primarily with trade marks but also with considerable experience in copyright and design matters, Rosemary advises clients from all around the world. She handles some of the world's most famous brands. Rosemary's workload includes advocacy work at trade mark hearings, trade mark clearance searching, preparation of evidence, advising clients on the law of infringement and passing-off, advising on the registrability of trade marks, and dealing with contentious issues such as filing and defending opposition, invalidation and revocation proceedings.

Yvette Hoskings-James

Yvette Hoskings-James is a solicitor and runs her own legal practice. Prior to setting up her practice she worked as an in-house lawyer for various U.S. multinationals and UK organizations including the National Rivers Authority (now Environment Agency), Foster Wheeler and Halliburton. In her last in-house position, Yvette headed up the European legal function of URS Corporation, a U.S. multinational engineering and environmental consulting organization. Yvette has gained extensive commercial and legal experience working on business and legal affairs including UK and international multi-million dollar engineering and construction projects, oil and gas projects, joint ventures, IT projects, commercial contracts, risk management and compliance matters, as well as developing and delivering training. She has developed and delivered training on contracts, general commercial law, risk management and governance. Yvette is also the author of Business Agreements Made Easy which is a guide for small businesses to commercial and legal issues as well as pitfalls in relation to business agreements.

Marie Ward

Marie Ward is a Human Resources Professional and runs her own HR Consultancy business. Prior to setting up her business she worked as an in-house Senior HR Manager for various multinationals and UK organisations including Automatic Data Processing Ltd, Parsons Inc and Bausch and Lomb. In her last in-house position, Marie headed up the UK Human Resources department, providing guidance and support to managers within a multisite environment. Marie has gained extensive operational and strategic Human Resources experience and is an expert in employment matters covering the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, performance management, redundancy and reorganisations, employment contractual matters and employee management. Marie is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and also holds a Masters degree in Human Resource Management.

Shirley Mitchell

Before becoming an Independent Consultant in 2005 Shirley previously worked for a top London Training Consultancy and was involved in the research, design and implementation of training programmes to a variety of blue chip clients worldwide. She has also held the position of Training Manager with responsibility for a team of Independent Associates so has hands on experience of the many challenges organisations face, from start up through to maturity. Shirley is committed to achieving the highest standards possible. Her 10 years of Consultancy and Management experience ensure that even the most challenging issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. Her interest lies in seeing possibilities beyond what is already present and known, by using her insight, ingenuity, and intellect. Her passion is developing people to achieve tangible business benefits.

Katrina Anderson

For over 10 years Katrina has specialised in call centre and management training. In 2001 Katrina worked as an International training manager for a Conferencing company. There her expertise was utilised in designing and delivering training programmes for worldwide clients from a variety of industries. Her extensive global experience with all levels of management gives her a wealth of knowledge to draw upon when faced with new client challenges. Katrina is stimulated by challenges and shows ingenuity in meeting them. She is strong on initiative and creativity and is skilled at turning her ideas into reality. Katrina is also accomplished at working with individuals and is perceptive in understanding the needs and motivations of others. This combination, together with her open and supportive approach to business and management, enables her to bring a practical, enthusiastic and personal style to her training and consultancy.
