Il Palazzo is an imposing Grade II listed building and was originally one of Liverpool's first banks. Built in 1895 in the style of the Italian renaissance, it has been faithfully restored and refurbished and has retained many of its period features such as the mythological plaster friezes and the Blue Pearl Granite columns - considered to be some of the largest in Europe as they are sculpted in one piece.
